Overview :
Burt Process Equipment’s APOLLO series of atmospheric evaporators offer metal finishers, PC manufacturers and other industrial markets solutions for their wastewater purification and recycling problems. It is possible to concentrate plating baths or stagnant rinses to:
  • • Recycle the electrolytes (plating solutions) back into the process tank.
  • • Reduce problems with wastewater and so-called "spent solutions".
  • • Save costs.

The Apollo evaporators will evaporate water out of electrolytes under ambient pressure in a temperature range from 70° to 140° F.

APOLLO Atmospheric Evaporators are a simple, low cost means of complying with EPA regulations while recovering valuable drag out. Available in polypropylene, polyethylene, PVC and PVDF, these units can be used in a wide variety of applications. Two standard sizes are available with evaporation rates from 5 to 60 gallons per hour. The APOLLO atmospheric evaporator can be utilized to reduce wastewater volume from a storage tank which significantly minimizes hauling costs.

Depending upon the application, the concentrate can be recycled or disposed of at greatly reduced costs resulting in higher profits. Zero discharge and closed loop systems offer reduced operating and treatment costs and avoid problems associated with environmental compliance. Systems are available to operate with steam, hot water, electricity, natural gas, or propane.
