Overview :
|
Burt Process Equipment offers custom engineered solutions and equipment packages for solvent fluid handling and transfer applications. Our solvent lift stations come in both stainless steel and carbon steel construction with various options and configurations to meet your hazardous location requirements. Standard units are comprised of a sealed cabinet assembly with integral simplex or duplex pump lift stations to collect and transfer solvents and flammable wastes seen primarily in the semiconductor industry.
Inside of each cabinet solvent waste is collected in a tank or drum for pump out or removal as is dictated by the application. Each vessel includes secondary containment and air operated pumps are provided to transfer the solvent solution. Solvent levels are monitored either by weight using load cells or by direct level measurement using a variety of liquid level transmitters in the tank. By utilizing intrinsically safe or explosion proof controls along with air operated transfer pumps, Burt Process Equipment’s solvent lift cabinets are the ideal choice to meet hazardous location protocols.
Each solvent lift station assembly is factory plumbed using welded stainless steel interconnecting piping and includes exterior mounted electrical junction boxes for all wiring terminations. The cabinet also includes an external vent connection for the collection tank(s). The internal vent manifold comes factory plumbed with an appropriate vent/flame arrester(s) and the exterior of the cabinet includes the required NFPA placard for fire hazards as required.
